Sponsorship Opportunities: Sponsor an artist

We have a new sponsorship program we would like to share with you. This sponsorship campaign gives you an opportunity to sponsor our artists for the 2013/14 Season. Sponsorship of vocalists and orchestra members is possible.

We have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to the artists who will be joining us this season. We invite you, our donors and audience members, to become more directly involved with PMW and with the outstanding artists who perform in our concerts.

All donations made during the 2013/14 Season can be used towards sponsoring an artist. Sponsorship benefits include priority seating, public acknowledgement, and a chance to meet the artist, among other things.

We need your support in order to continue bringing you these incredible offerings! Please support us today, if not with a sponsorship, please consider a donation of any amount to PMW's general fund. Housing of artists and other forms of volunteer support are also ways to contribute to PMW.

Other ways you can help Pacific MusicWorks:

-Become an artists travel sponsor - donate your airmiles to become an artist travel sponsor
-PMW is always looking for opportunities to house our out of town musicians, for volunteers who are able to loan a car to us during a project to help out artists get around town, and also for drivers willing to collect artists from the airport and deliver them to their accommodations.

Please contact Maxine if you would like more information on sponsoring an artist.

End of Year Campaign!

As you may have heard, the response to Pacific MusicWorks' April 2013 performances of Handel's Apollo e Dafne was unanimously positive and it was a splendid way to end our second season in Seattle.

As we close our financial year and look forward to continued international standards of programming and exciting partnerships, we must continue to raise funds and, if you can give by the end of our fiscal year on June 30, you will be making a real difference.

Since 2009, PMW has proved itself to be a "national level producer" (Opera News), and though we are proud of what we have achieved so far, we have even greater ambitions for the future. Our plans for the 2013/2014 Season include Purcell and Britten in October and renowned Dutch bass Harry van der Kamp in April, both at Seattle's First Baptist church, and Handel's opera Semele at Meany Theatre in a co-production with the University of Washington School of Music.

The 2013/2014 Season will also see our first major collaboration with the Seattle Symphony for performances of the St. John Passion in March 2014.

Join PMW for an exciting year as only an insider can.

When you invest in Pacific MusicWorks, you will reap the benefits in all that we do - presenting stunning and thought-provoking concerts, and developing new audiences for early music.

Please consider making your online gift before the end of our fiscal year on June 30!

GiveBIG to Pacific MusicWorks on Wednesday, May 15!

GiveBIG is a one-day only, online charitable giving event to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations like Pacific MusicWorks that make our region a healthier and more vital place to live. Donate to Pacific MusicWorks during GiveBIG, and your dollars will be "stretched," thanks to GiveBIG sponsors. All GiveBIG donations also qualify you (and Pacific MusicWorks) for The Seattle Foundation's Golden Tickets contest! Make a donation, share with your friends, and be a part of our community's biggest day of giving!

How does GiveBIG work?

  • Donations must be made through The Seattle Foundation website between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm on May 15, 2013 to count towards GiveBIG.
  • At the end of the day, Pacific MusicWorks will receive a percentage of the "stretch" pool. For example, if PMW receives 1% of the total donations given on May 15, we will receive 1% of the "stretch" pool. Last year, the "stretch" pool totaled $800,000.
  • Win a Golden Ticket: Throughout the day, individual donors will be randomly chosen to have an additional $1,000 and a round-trip Alaska Airlines ticket donated to the organization that received their donation. The winning individual will receive a $100 gift card to Starbucks.
